Definition
Giving instruction is an expression for give or ask somebody to do something that we want.
Giving instruction same with imperative sentences.

Giving instruction are :
1.      Command
a.       Verb (+ O).
Example : Watch out, come here, etc.
b.      Please + V (+ O)
Example : Please clean your room.
c.       V (+ O) + Please.
Example : Wash this towel, please.
2.      Prohibition.
a.       Don’t + V (+ O)
Example : Don’t close it!
b.  Don’t + V (+ O) + Please.
Example : Don’t be noise, please.
c.       Would you mind not + V-ing (+ O)
Example : Would you mind not reading my diary.

Kinds of giving instruction :
1. We use as commanding word in the form of infinitive
(without to)
Example : Stand up !
Clean the write board !
2.
We use be + noun/adjective/adverbs
Example :Be careful !
Be on time !
3.
We use the word don’t + infinitive (without to)
Example :Don’t go anywhere !
Don’t touch me !
4.
We use not + V-ing
Example :No smoking !
No parking !
5.
We use word please at the beginning or at the end of an instruction to make it sounds more polite.
Example :Keep silent, please !
Sit down, please !

1. The tense used in giving instruction is “simple present”
